Everyone loves free stuff, and Pokémon Pocket is rather generous in this regard. You get lots of resources from the in-game battles as long as you’re able to clear them. Just put some time into the beginner stuff, and it's not too difficult to build a deck that can grab you tons of packs.

It’s rare, however, for additional free codes to appear, but we're in luck today. To celebrate Golden Week and the release of the new Celestial Guardians set, Pokémon Pocket has released a new free code.

Pokémon Pocket Free Code

Until May 27th, players can input a code to gain 24 pack hourglasses and 500 trade currency.

Typically, one pack is granted to a player after a 12-hour timer refreshes. You can use pack hourglasses to speed up your wait time. 24 hourglasses are the equivalent of 24 hours, offering two free packs to the player.

The trade currency is something you’ll want to use sooner rather than later. There are already reports suggesting that the trade system in Pokémon Pocket will eventually be suspended for a dusting one. For now, though, this trade currency can be a big step forward to building a meta deck for the ranked ladder.

While trading commons and uncommons only costs stamina, trading rarer cards from past sets requires this currency. Here are the rates that cards require for trading:

Rare: 120

Full Art: 400

ex: 500

Anything rarer than an ex cannot be traded.

How to Redeem

Ironically, redeeming Pokémon Pocket codes isn’t straightforward. There’s no way to do it in the app. Instead, you must go to the official Pokémon Pocket gift site and enter your Pokémon Pocket account support code with the code you need to redeem.

The Pokémon Pocket Golden Week Gift Code is S5N4NDM00N

Finding your support code is, once again, not exactly straightforward. To find it, you need to open the app and click on the button with three lines in the top right corner. Your support code should be visible at the bottom of the drop-down menu with an option to copy it. Put that into the official gift site with the code, and you should be able to find your new goodies in-game in the gifts section. The official site will also show you how to find your support code.

It's great to see free codes continually appear for Pokémon Pocket. The Trade Currency, in particular, is quite valuable. While Pack Hourglasses aren't the most difficult thing to find, Trade Currency is very difficult to track down in-game. Usually, you can only gain Trade Currency through special events and out-of-game freebies like this.

This makes sense, considering Pokémon Pocket wants to rotate Trade Currency out. Until then, use these resources to assemble a meta deck to take down the ladder with, or grab that evasive card that you can't seem to open.
