Konami has recently announced its plans to release special promo cards in celebration of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game (TCG) World Championship. The event is to be held from the 29th to the 31st of August in Paris, France, at the Maison de la Mutualité.
Special Spectator Promo Cards
Attendees fortunate enough to physically join the event will have the chance to claim two special Secret Rare promotional cards. Copies of Breaker the Magical Warrior and Mirror Force will be available at the end of each day once the final match has been decided.
While they're no longer in the spotlight, Breaker the Magical Warrior and Mirror Force were staple cards back in the franchise’s early days. They are still iconic cards to this day that are synonymous with the series’ first protagonist, Yugi Mutou.
Konami has also announced a raffle event for fans of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game. Fans from the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and the European Economic Area, will be able to win a Spectator Pass.
According to Konami’s announcement, the residents of Italy will have their own separate system for a chance to claim a free spectator pass.
The pass will allow the winners of the raffle to attend either the second (30th) or the final (31st) day of the event finals.
As for those unable to join the raffle, Konami has also revealed another way to earn these promotional items.
Official Tournament Stores around the world will be hosting their own celebrations on the weekend of the World Championship. Both promotional cards will be made available at these outlets as special prizes.

WCS 2025 Limited Pack
Konami has also recently announced a special themed pack in celebration of the 2025 World Championship.
Details on the product are sparse at the moment, but from Konami’s official product description, the pack will have a card pool of 21 cards, all available as Ultra Rares and Secret Rares.
All cards are supposed to be emblazoned with the logo of the 2025 World Championship.
The marquee card of the set is a special repainted version of Exodia the Forbidden One. This card also has a Secret Rare variant in the pool that has its World Championship logo mimicking the color scheme of the French flag.
This special pack will be made available on the 30th of August, when the World Championship will be in full swing. Interested parties will have to keep an eye out.
Only participating Official Tournament Stores -and the World Championship venue- will be stocking this product. Given the nature of this product, supplies may very well not last.
