June 8th, 2023, marks the original global launch date of Pokemon Trading Card Game (TCG) Live. As a simulator of the physical card game, Live has been a good alternative and training ground for players who don't have the resources or time to invest in the paper card game.
Fast-forward two years later and the Pokemon Company International (TPCi) is celebrating its second anniversary. What better way to celebrate this occasion with some free goodies?
Pokemon TCG Live Redemption Code
According to the official announcement made on the Pokemon TCG Live X account, redeeming the code TCGLTURNS2 will net players 2,000 Trade Credits and Trainer points for the game.
This code is limited to a one-time transaction per account, and it will be redeemable until the 30th of June, or while supplies last. Interested players will have to hurry if they want to get their hands on these free in-game currencies.
At the moment, Trade Credits can be exchanged for cards in the creation or editing of new or existing decks. Trainer Points, on the other hand, are traded in for booster packs, in-game bundles, and special deck items.
These currencies can be earned by just playing the game, doing in-game missions, and by just progressing through the battle pass. The ever-present grind for these resources may be arduous, so a little boost now and again is welcomed.
Other Goodies
For players who have yet to log in to Pokemon TCG Live lately, there’s a running campaign where you’ll get the following items upon log-in:
- Scorching Charizard card sleeves,
- Illustration Rare Cards featuring Team Rocket’s Nidoking ex and Team Rocket’s Crobat ex, and;
- a special celebratory anniversary hat for the player avatar.
Interested parties will have to hurry, though, as these rewards will only be available until the 12th of June, specifically until 10:00 a.m. PDT.
