Like any TCG, memorable cards evolve to contain a sort of legacy. Whether it's Dark Magician from the earliest Yu-Gi-Oh! Anime episodes or Tarmogoyf's iconic reign over an era of Magic, any TCG fan holds some iconic cards above others, and Hearthstone is no exception.

Revealed yesterday, to celebrate Hearthstone's 10th anniversary, an entire set is being created around one iconic Hearthstone card. After offering players to replace their starting deck with a series of admittedly mediocre ones, Whizbang is back to create more chaos in Hearthstone's newest set!

Whizbang's Workshop

Blizzard Gaming has officially announced Hearthstone's newest expansion. Revealed on February 13, this set aims to celebrate Hearthstone's last ten years by imbuing Whizbang's creations with heaps of nostalgia. Some of Hearthstone's most iconic characters will be returning as part of this celebration. Inventor Boom, able to resurrect two massive mechs to assault enemies, is a great callback to the iconic Dr. Boom powerhouse. Considering how powerful reanimation effects like this have been historically, Inventor Boom looks like an incredibly powerful card.

A Fully Customizable Card!?

One surprising spoiler showcased alongside the release announcement of Hearthstone's newest set reveals a customizable card! Zilliax Deluxe 3000 is Hearthstone's first 'fully customizable' card.

The game has offered other customizable effects in the past. Kazakus is perhaps the most infamous of these. That said, Kazakus itself was not customizable; only the potions he created had this aspect to them. Zilliax Deluxe 3000, on the other hand, can be customized before you even head into your first game. You can read more about that

Whizbang's Workshop Release Date

On March 19, 145 new cards from Whizbang's Workshop will be available for players to tinker with! So far, alongside customizable cards and returning old friends, Blizzard Gaming has announced a new mechanic coming to Hearthstone - Miniaturize! This mechanic offers a tiny version of a successfully deployed card with the keyword, allowing a ton of flexibility in play patterns combined with exciting value plays by abusing Battlecries and other abilities.
