Giveaways on Pokemon TCG Live are usually far in between. Recently, however, it looks like TPCi (The Pokemon Company International) has plenty of reasons to celebrate. Not only is there the debut of its latest release, but also the milestone of the Scarlet & Violet era of the Trading Card Game (TCG).
Scarlet and Violet: 16 Card Packs
Over the weekend, the Pokemon TCG Live account on X posted another giveaway.
With this celebration of Black Bolt and White Flare’s release, TPCi has formally announced the end of the Scarlet & Violet era of the card game. To celebrate this, they're offering Pokemon TCG Live players 2,000 Trainer points and 16 card packs.
The card packs offered by the following code will all be from the Scarlet & Violet era. Starting from the original Scarlet & Violet set to more recent additions like Destined Rivals.
Black Bolt and White Flare, the last additions to this era of cards, are also included. TPCi has included both versions of this paired set as part of the giveaway.
According to the announcement, this code will be redeemable until the 31st of December, so you have plenty of time to claim.

Redeeming the Code:
Players interested in redeeming this code can do so either through the Pokemon TCG Live app itself on the PC or through Pokemon Live’s website.
Through the App:
- Enter the ‘Shop’ menu.
- Click on the ‘Redeem’ button and then input the code above in the text box as indicated.
- Click on the ‘Submit Code’ button.
- And then all you have to do is select the ‘Claim/Collect’ button to add the items to your account.
Through the Pokemon Live Website:
- Click on the ‘Redeem Now’ button in the ‘Build Your Collection’ segment of the Pokemon TCG Live page.
- Log-in to your Pokemon Live account.
- Enter the code and click ‘Submit Code’.
- Click the ‘Claim Now’ button on the menu that appears to add the items to the account.

Surprisingly, TPCi is not done with the celebration. In another post on X, Pokemon Live will also be giving away another 5 more passcodes for special Illustration Rare (IR) cards.
Starting on the 1st of August and every Friday for the month, TPCi will be releasing a passcode for the following Pokemon:
- The Chandelure evolutionary line.
- The Gigalith evolutionary line.
- The Haxorus evolutionary line.
- The Vanilluxe evolutionary line.
- The trio of Virizion, Terrakion, and Coballion.
According to the post, the passcodes for the first three are tentatively scheduled to be given out on the 1st, 8th, and 15th of August. The results of a community poll will determine which of the IRs will be released until all three are done.
As for the trio of legendary Pokemon, they are currently scheduled for the 22nd, while the Vanilluxe evolutionary line is planned for the last Friday of August (29th).
Like any passcodes, the post also mentions a validity period. Interested collectors will have until the 9th of October to redeem these giveaways.
