The weekly Disney Lorcana stream from Ravensburger continues to surprise. Richelle Brady (Global Disney Lorcana Community Manager) and Greg Tito (Director of Communications for Ravensburger) have provided some new details about the upcoming ninth expansion for Disney Lorcana, Fabled.
Official Release Date

The first information presented from the stream was the official release date of the set. In about two months from now, Disney Lorcana’s Fabled expansion will have its prerelease on the 29th of August. Following this, on September 5th will be the official global release for Fabled.
Some Finer Details
Thanks to the showing of the Fabled products above, keen-eyed observers can already spot some cards coming in.

With confirmation from Richelle Brady herself, members of the stream chat were able to point out that Ariel - Singing Mermaid will be one of the reprinted cards in the Fabled set.
For Amber specialists, this bit of news helps solidify at least one possible mid-game drop. Once set rotation occurs, Amber will be losing access to a lot of early game singers, such as Cinderella - Ballroom Sensation or Gaston - Baritone Bully.
Over to the other single-player deck product, we can now see solid proof of the existence of A Goofy Movie entering the roster of Disney Lorcana. It looks like Amber may no longer hold the monopoly on the Singer ability.
As a general disclaimer, please take this next part with a bit of salt. We’re working with some rough screenshots, so the finer details are open to interpretation.
When zooming in, we can only see a blur of text, but it seems that Powerline (a celebrity singer from A Goofy Movie) may have the Singer ability. The Powerline card shown on the side of the box is clearly a Ruby card.
It also looks like Powerline comes with a second keyword ability. It’s a little tough to make it out, but members of Reddit believe that it may be the Shift keyword.
Alongside Ariel and Powerline, it looks like Emerald will be welcoming Max Goof (Goofy’s son in the Disney franchise) into their roster, while Sapphire will have their very first version of Mulan.
New Enchanted Lilo

Part of the stream also had Richelle and Greg showcasing a brand new Enchanted rarity Lilo.
According to the two, there was a rumor circulating that the Enchanted rarity cards in Fabled were only going to be reprinted cards. With this new Lilo announcement, Ravensburger seems to be looking to quell that curiosity.
The two coyly mention that another card from Fabled will be revealed, including mechanics, this coming weekend.
That reveal will be handled by partners in China who will be hosting the (Disney Lorcana) Shanghai Grand Prix. Apparently, some of the cards to be released in Fabled will be used as promotional items during the event.
New Accessories and Items
Closing out the announcement, Richelle and Tito also go over some other products releasing at the same time as Fabled.

Some playmats, a couple of deck boxes, and card sleeves have all been revealed. These are pretty standard items for the fans willing to invest more into this shared hobby.

Additionally, a new gift box will be made available globally roughly a month (October 3rd) after Fabled’s worldwide release (September 5th).
Last time Disney Lorcana had a gift box, it featured Lilo - Escape Artist for Amber. This time, Amethyst will have its turn as Elsa - The Fifth Spirit will be featured and will come with a new alternate art, glimmer foil.
Based on the screenshot, it looks like the Gift Box will also come with 5 randomized booster packs from previous sets, a storage box, and 3 dividers.
These are contents almost identical to the previous Gift Box that featured Lilo - Escape Artist.
Closing out the announcement segment, it looks like Ravensburger will be at Gen Con this coming July 31st.
Greg briefly mentions that it would be Ravensburger’s anniversary panel. Richelle continues that Ravensburger will take the opportunity to reveal more information about the cards to be reprinted in Fabled during this panel.
For those unable to make it to Gen Con, Greg confirms that the panel will be streamed and supported by social media posts to make sure that the information presented at Gen Con will be shared with the wider world.
