With February officially over and Archazia’s Island about to hit store shelves this coming March 7th, it’s a good time to take stock of the current best-selling cards for the month of February.

5. Calhoun - Marine Sergeant (Azurite Sea)

Calhoun - Marine Sergeant

She’s back for the third time. At this rate, we’ll need to get a restraining order for Calhoun - Marine Sergeant. Calhoun started the month of February with a modest cost of about $8 to $9 on average.

Over the course of the first week of February, her price went up to about a $10 average. Following this, her demand shot through the roof around the tail end of the month’s second week where about 74 copies of the card were sold.

Going into March, copies of Calhoun - Marine Sergeant are selling at an all-time high of $12 on average. Cold foil copies of the card easily double that price, selling for about $25.

To be honest, this is not unexpected. Calhoun - Marine Sergeant is a solid pick for Steel decks regardless of the type. Her above-average statline paired with resist gives her a modicum of protection from board removal.

Additionally, her ability to gain lore by crashing into smaller units makes her a good early-game threat for enemy decks that go wide with extremely aggressive plays using smaller units.

It’s probably a safe bet that this card will still see a good amount of demand for Steel-focused players and her card rarity will ensure that her price will keep increasing until either something better comes along or a plateau is reached.

4. Clarabelle - Light on Her Hooves (Shimmering Skies)

Steady goes the beat of Clarabelle’s rhythm as her price just kept seeing a steady uptick. Her price increase is a little interesting to look at as after the first week of February, she only gained about $2 from the starting line of $14 till about the 22nd of the month.

After that weekend, Clarabelle’s price range shot up three times in succession. It skipped to a $16 average, then $18, before calming down at $20 at the start of the last week of the month.

By the time February rolled to a close, Clarabelle had entered March with a $22 average with some cold foil rares already being sold at about $30.

Interesting to note was that the spoiler season for the upcoming Archazia’s Island expansion was in full swing during that last bit of price hopscotch Clarabelle had done.

As a playable card, Clarabelle herself is a very strong mid to late-game drop especially if you have a shift target on hand. Being able to redraw your hand to match your opponents -especially against Amethyst or Sapphire decks with their relentless draw engines- is a very good play to either keep your momentum going or to catch up if the tides have already shifted.

3. Robin Hood - Champion of Sherwood (Into the Inklands)

Robin Hood - Champion of Sherwood

Robin Hood - Champion of Sherwood was a surprising find despite its downward trend in the past months. Last year was when this version of Robin Hood enjoyed the height of its demand and price point where copies were being sold at about $47 at its peak before its continuous descent to about $22 last December 2024.

Since then, Robin Hood has kept to a steady price average of about $20 to $30 with some cold foils sometimes peaking over the edge at about $32 for the month of February.

Champion of Sherwood isn’t anything game-breaking or meta-defining. If anything, it’s like looking at a bigger relative of Calhoun - Marine Sergeant. They share the same lore gain upon banishing an enemy glimmer and they have a stat line to punch above their perceived weight class.

But what sets Robin Hood apart from some of his peers is that once he’s banished, he still leaves a parting gift for his ilumineer in the form of a card draw.

Sure he has allies he can do pretty much the same, even better in some cases depending on what the deck’s partner ink color is. Having a shift cost of 3, however, cements the Champion of Sherwood as a beefy 3 ink cost drop that requires direct board removal if he sticks the landing. Unfortunately, only straight-up banishment is going to get the job done.

2. Rapunzel - Gifted with Healing (The First Chapter)

Rapunzel - Gifted with Healing

Unlike Robin Hood, Rapunzel is not that much of a surprise for a card from the oldest set in Disney Lorcana’s current lifespan. Released back in The First Chapter, Rapunzel is the heart and soul of a lot of Amber-Steel decks.

Her ability to not only generate lore but also draw power helps keep any deck at pace with their rivals, especially if fielding units with a high willpower cost to take full advantage of Rapunzel’s healing.

At the start of February, she commanded quite a hefty sum average of about $47. From there, it was a mix of highs and lows as she surprisingly kept to a $51 to $52 average at the month’s closing.

However, due to her nature as a Legendary rarity card and the fact she came from the first chapter, her supply in the secondhand market may make that price continue to fluctuate higher depending on the performances from upcoming tournaments and the local competitive scene.

If The First Chapter is not kept stocked, there may come a situation down the line where her price can easily double in a short amount of time.

1. Maui - Half-Shark (Azurite Sea)

Well, this was coming from a mile away. This is probably the most oppressive card on this list in terms of sheer gameplay. His 6 ink cost, monstrous statline, and packaged action recursion with lore gain make him an immediate problem for any player.

Not a lot of characters in Disney Lorcana can safely trade with Maui so that leaves direct board removal as the safest and most efficient way to get rid of him.

Currently, Maui - Half-Shark is sitting at a $42 average from his more humble $31 average back at the start of February. This is probably due to the fact that Azurite Sea is still relatively new and easier to get a hold of, unlike older expansions such as The First Chapter.

So far, the only eyebrow-raising thing from sales is the fact that some cold foil copies are hitting the $60 and even $90 price mark.

It’s a little too early to tell how things will shake up with Maui’s price trend. With Archazia’s Island about to launch, the competitive performance of Ruby decks will be put to the test, and from there we’ll see if Maui - Half-Shark will keep his place as a costly piece.
