There’s an interesting development happening over in South America. Thanks to the Disney Lorcana Reddit forums, it looks like Disney Lorcana will be heading to Brazil.
Sadly, it's worth remembering that while this news is very exciting, Ravensburger hasn't confirmed anything officially. As such, it's better to wait to board the hype train until an official announcement is made. That being said, it appears it'll only be a matter of time until that happens.
Disney Lorcana Is Heading to Brazil
Last weekend (March 9th to 12th) São Paulo was hosting the Abrin International Toy Fair. This trade show is the largest toy event in Latin America, and it's even one of the largest events globally. The event is advertised to offer a lot of insights into the Latin American toy market and its industries to attendees.
We have to thank Wanderlust Walks over at YouTube for publicly sharing their recording of their time at the toy fair. In their video, we can see that Disney Lorcana -as well as another notable Trading Card Game- was being represented.
Furthermore, it looks like the Reddit post also suggests that Set 1, The First Chapter, will be arriving in Brazil sometime this coming May in the English language with Portuguese versions of the cards becoming available around the first quarter of 2026.
Interested players in Brazil may not have to wait long to catch up with the main market as the third quarter of 2025 should see simultaneous releases with the U.S.
The Return of the First Chapter

Alongside Disney Lorcana's potential Brazillian debut, the fact that The First Chapter is being reprinted can pique the interest of some players.
The First Chapter was originally released to the Western market in August 2023. A wave of reprints arrived around the tail end of the year until about January 2024. Fast-forward another year to 2025, and Disney Lorcana has reached new shores with the Japanese version of The First Chapter.
At the moment, the second-hand market is struggling to keep The First Chapter in stock. If Reddit is to be believed, then an English reprint of this particular set may end up being a tempting purchase for the more intrepid buyer.

Cards found in The First Chapter set like Rapunzel - Gifted with Healing and Be Prepared are usually considered core staples in a lot of modern competitive decks.
The former already commands an average market price of about $52 for its normal variant while its cold foil version is easily jumping to $80. The latter card, thankfully, is at a lower average price point of about $10.
That said, both Rapunzel - Gifted with Healing and Be Prepared are scarcely seen on the second-hand market. Players who had arrived later in the lifespan of Disney Lorcana may take this opportunity to scoop up their own English playsets.
